The top players in North America fought tooth and nail for a spot in the Disney Lorcana World Championship 2025. 121 player had to qualify for this stage, and now they have to keep on winning until they make the top 8 to secure their spot for Worlds. Once players are in the top 8, their focus shifts to the Disney Lorcana North American Championship Trophy.
We saw a lot of exciting games and overwhelming emotions as most players had their dreams to make it into Worlds slip away with every Lore their opposing player quested.
The Set 6 meta had a diverse meta, with Ruby Sapphire on top. However, many choices can go toe-to-toe with Ruby Sapphire, proving to be a healthy meta. The top 8 had a variety of decks make it, amazing to see the different choices players are able to make and still go far on one of the biggest competitive stages.

The two finalists had to play a best 5, many games to win to take the trophy home. Edmond managed to go 3-1 and take first place in the NA Championship.
This deck combines control cards and the bounce mechanic in one deck, capable of changing its playstyle from aggressive to control depending on the opponent and state of the game.
This list is packed with 1-cost Characters and Flynn Rider – Frenemy, allowing it to go aggressive in the early game, which is a playstyle you want to go for against Ruby Sapphire. On top of that, Be Prepared and Lady Tremaine – Imperious Queen are great options to remove win conditions and slow the opponent’s strategy.
The Library – A Gift for Belle is great for the extra draws, especially if you’re ahead of the opponent and forcing them to play defensively.

Ruby Sapphire had the highest representation in the tournament, remaining the favorite choice among top competitive players. This is a ramp deck that uses cards like Tipo – Growing Son and Sail the Azurite Sea, getting extra cards in the inkwell to go for stronger players on upcoming turns.
Hiram Flaversham – Toymaker is a key card for the draw engine, making sure you don’t run out of resources in the late game. Putting extra cards in your inkwell can burn your resources fast, so you rely on your draw engines to make sure you have plays to make.
The list is heavy on removal options, cards like Brawl, Be Prepared, Sisu – Empowered Sibling, and Maleficent – Monstrous Dragon are great control options to slow the opponent’s strategy as you shift the game in your favor.
A Pirate’s Life has been a popular inclusion among players in Ruby Sapphire decks, helping you pull back your opponent from getting 20 Lore and buying you more time until Tamatoa – So Shiny! starts Questing for a lot of Lore.

Emerald Steel makes it to third place in the NA Championship, this version is heavy on the discard package, using Ursula – Deceiver, Sudden Chill, and Hypnotize to bleed opponents from resources.
Combined with Ursula – Deceiver of All, you can Sing Sudden Chill to force the opposing player to discard 2 cards, further putting them behind on cards.
Prince John – Greediest of All plays an important role in drawing you more cards, further increasing the resources gap as you activate his effect.
The Muses – Proclaimers of Heroes is a great option if you’re trying to remove low Strength Characters from play, and since the list has lots of Songs, you’ll easily activate the effect to return a Character to the opponent’s hand and then potentially discard it.

4 The White Rose - Jewel of the Garden
Amethyst Steel has been crushing it in tournaments, using Amethyst’s Bounce mechanic for extra value and Steel’s Pete – Games Referee can be a headache for the opponent, shutting them down from making certain plays.
This deck plays aggressively early into the game, dropping low-cost Characters and using Calhoun – Marine Sergeant, The White Rose – Jewel of the Garden, and Merlin – Goat for the extra Lore. Bouncing Merlin – Goat is the usual play as you approach the late-game, giving you the little Lore you need to close out games.
Genie – Wish Fulfilled has been a massive push for Amethyst decks, giving them a card draw when played, and sticking on the board as an Evasive Characters that Quests for 2 Lore.

2 Sir Hiss - Aggravating Asp
3 The White Rose - Jewel of the Garden
4 Ursula - Deceiver
Six 1-cost Characters in this Emerald Amethyst list, clearly trying to target control decks like Ruby Sapphire. The plan is to swarm the board with low-cost Characters and start Questing for the win. Ursula – Deceiver is great for sniping a bothersome Song from the opponent’s hand, making it tougher for the to gain control of the board.
The White Rose – Jewel of the Garden, Merlin – Goat, and Go Go Tomago – Darting Dynamo are there for the extra Lore, getting you closer to winning the game. Interestingly, this list has Prince Phillip – Royal Explorer, a Character that can Quest for 2 Lore and has Ward, making it tougher for opponent’s to respond to.
The plan is clear, drop Characters, Quest, and force opponents to control the board.

Amber Steel heavily relies on singing Songs with Ariel – Spectacular Singer, Ursula – Vanessa, and Prince Naveen – Ukulele Player. The list also has Gaston – Baritone Bully, a 3-cost Character that can sing 5-cost Songs.
Singing Songs lets you make more plays without having to use as much Ink, allowing you to control the board and continue to develop more Characters. A Whole New World is an important card in this deck, replenishing your hand and potentially ruining your opponent’s hand.
The list is tailored for early/mid game aggression, mostly to beat the Ruby Sapphire decks.
