We’re still early into the Lorcana Set 6 meta, and players are still experimenting with the new cards. Many old archetypes received new Set 6 cards that synergized with their game plan, giving them better overall consistency.
The new Set 6 cards strengthen the old decks and can even make them perform better against tough matchups they struggled against. In set 5 meta, we saw Emerald Steel crushing the scene after things settled down, despite losing one of its strongest cards, Bucky.
Set 6 Tournaments have started kicking off, and we’re seeing what players have been cooking with their lists and how each archetype is performing. I’ll share the best decks in the current format that performed in tournaments and will keep this list updated as things continue to develop.

3 Elsa - The Fifth Spirit
4 Flynn Rider - Frenemy
4 Friends On The Other Side
3 Genie - Wish Fulfilled

4 Madam Mim - Snake
2 Madame Medusa - The Boss
3 Maui - Hero to All
4 Merlin - Crab
3 Merlin - Goat
4 Merlin - Rabbit
4 Sisu - Emboldened Warrior
Ruby Amethyst is one of the strongest and most consistent decks in Lorcana. This deck uses the bounce mechanic as part of its game plan, making use of Madam Mim – Fox and Madam Mim – Snake to return cards like Merlin – Crab, Merlin – Goat, and Merlin – Rabbit for extra value. Madam Mim – Fox having Rush allows you to attack with her immediately and banish an exerted Character.
Ruby Amethyst is well known for its control capabilities, using cards like Brawl, Madame Medusa – The Boss, Be Prepared, and Sisu – Emboldened Warrior to keep opponents from taking over the game and slowing their Lore generation.
This list is running two new Set 6 cards, Diablo – Obedient Raven and Genie – Wish Fulfilled. Diablo – Obedient Raven is an early play to give you Lore and force opponents to challenge it. When banished, Diablo – Obedient Raven will draw you a card, so you won’t be losing on value. As for Genie – Wish Fulfilled, he’s an Evasive Character with a 2|4 stat line that Quests for 2 Lore! On top of that, Genie – Wish Fulfilled draws you a card when played.
Amber Steel
4 A Whole New World
4 And Then Along Came Zeus
4 Ariel - Spectacular Singer
4 Cinderella - Ballroom Sensation
2 I'm Still Here
3 Lawrence - Jealous Manservant
4 Let the Storm Rage On
4 Mr. Smee - Bumbling Mate
4 Pete - Games Referee
3 Pluto - Guard Dog
4 Prince Naveen - Ukulele Player
4 Rapunzel - Gifted with Healing
4 Robin Hood - Beloved Outlaw
4 Robin Hood - Champion of Sherwood
4 Strength of a Raging Fire
4 Ursula - Vanessa
The Steel Song Amber Steel deck is all about using Singers to play your Songs as early as possible. Characters like Ariel – Spectacular Singer and Ursula – Vanessa can Sing high-cost Songs on earlier turns, giving you more value and control over the board with the use of cards like And Then Along Came Zeus and Let the Storm Rage On. Since you’re singing Songs, you’ll find yourself running out of cards quickly, this is where A Whole New World is a game changer, allowing you to replinish your hand with new cards while potentially discarding valuable cards for the opposing player.
I’m Still Here is a nice addition to the list, giving one of your Characters Resist +2 until the start of your next turn. This means you could give it to one of your Characters before it attacks, letting you Banish a Character while less damage is dealt to your Character. Since the Resist sticks until the start of your next turn, it acts as protection during your opponent’s turn, making it difficult for them to Banish your Character by challenging it or damage cards.
Pluto – Guard Dog is one strong Bodyguard with its 1|5 stat line, perfect to protect your exerted singers. He also gains +4 Strength if not damaged, capable of banishing high WillPower Characters.
Emerald Steel
1 Anna - Diplomatic Queen
2 Basil - Disguised Detective

4 Strength of a Raging Fire
4 Sudden Chill
3 The Muses - Proclaimers of Heroes
2 Tinker Bell - Giant Fairy
2 Ursula - Deceiver
4 Ursula - Deceiver of All
4 We Don't Talk About Bruno
All eyes are on Emerald Steel this meta, will it triumph as the best deck? Or will it finally fall from its throne as the best deck in Lorcana? Only time will tell!
This deck heavily relies on discarding opponents’ cards and bleeding them out of resources. To do that, the list has cards like Ursula – Deceiver, Sudden Chill, Hypnotize, and Honey Lemon – Chemical Genius that discard cards from the opponent’s hand. Additionally, Ursula – Deceiver of All, Prince John – Greediest of All, and Beast – Tragic Hero are all value cards that opponents can’t ignore for too long. These value cards can help create the resource value gap in your favor, making it tough for opponents to even Ink cards.
Morph – Space Goo lets you play high-cost Characters like Beast – Tragic Hero, Tinker Bell – Giant Fairy, and Basil – Disguised Detective on earlier turns through the shift line. This lets you put more pressure on the board early into the game and can be difficult for some decks to keep up.
Basil – Disguised Detective plays into your deck’s strategy, forcing the opponent to choose a card to discard every time you Ink during your turn. The longer the game goes, the tougher it’ll be for opponents to keep up with you.
Ruby Sapphire
1 Be Prepared

4 Gramma Tala - Keeper of Ancient Stories
4 Hiram Flaversham - Toymaker

4 Sail the Azurite Sea
3 Sisu - Daring Visitor
3 Sisu - Empowered Sibling
2 Tamatoa - So Shiny!
4 Tipo - Growing Son
3 Vision of the Future
2 Vitalisphere
Ruby Sapphire is the strongest Ramp deck in Lorcana, using Tipo – Growing Son, Sail the Azurite Sea, and Let it Go to place more cards into your Inkwell. This creates stronger future turns where you play high-cost Characters on earlier turns.
To ensure you don’t run out of resources, Hiram Flaversham – Toymaker creates a draw engine, forcing the opposing player to remove him quickly. Other cards like Gramma Tala – Keeper of Ancient Stories and Develop Your Brain can help you find the cards you need for future turns.
Maui – Half-Shark is another value card, letting you add an action card from your discard to your hand whenever he attacks. Additionally, when you play an Action card, Maui – Half-Shark will generate 1 Lore.
Ruby Sapphire is also known for its control capabilities, having Be Prepared, Brawl, Maleficent – Monstrous Dragon, and Sisu – Empowered Sibling to keep control of the board.
Tamatoa – So Shiny! and Lucky Dime is your strongest late-game play to win the game, letting you generate tons of Lore.
Emerald Amethyst
4 Banzai - Gluttonous Predator
2 Chernabog's Followers - Creatures of Evil
3 Clarabelle - Clumsy Guest
2 Clarabelle - Light on Her Hooves
4 Cursed Merfolk - Ursula's Handiwork
3 Diablo - Obedient Raven
4 Elsa - The Fifth Spirit
2 Gazelle - Angel with Horns
4 Genie - Wish Fulfilled
4 Go Go Tomago - Darting Dynamo
4 Kit Cloudkicker - Tough Guy
4 Madam Mim - Fox
4 Merlin - Crab
4 Merlin - Goat
2 Merlin - Rabbit
4 The White Rose - Jewel of the Garden
4 Ursula - Deceiver
2 Ursula - Sea Witch Queen
The Amethyst Emerald deck combines the discard and bounce mechanics as part of its strategy. This deck has Madam Mim – Fox to return cards like Merlin – Crab, Merlin – Goat, Merlin – Rabbit, and The White Rose – Jewel of the Garden for extra value. Madam Mim – Fox having Rush allows you to attack with her immediately and banish an exerted Character.
This deck can play aggressively with the multiple cards that generate Lore through their abilities like The White Rose – Jewel of the Garden and Go Go Tomago – Darting Dynamo. Kit Cloudkicker – Tough Guy returns one of the opponent’s Characters to their hand, weakening their presence on the board.
The late game has Ursula – Sea Witch Queen to help control the opponent’s side of the board and Clarabelle – Light on Her Hooves for the extra resource value.
