Top 8 OP11 Aichi Championship Series Season 1 – One Piece Card Game

The OP11 meta has largely been dominated by Blue Purple Luffy, with Green Purple Luffy close behind. However, as players continue to experiment with different Leaders and builds, Red Yellow Belo Betty and Purple Luffy have emerged as strong contenders to challenge the established meta.

Yesterday, the OP11 Japan Aichi Championship Series showcased some incredible games, culminating in a diverse top 8! Let’s dive into the top-performing decks from the tournament and break down each list!

Thunder Bagua

Gum-Gum Red Roc

Gravity Blade Raging Tiger

This list took first place, beating Blue Yellow Nami in the finals. Blue Purple Luffy’s game plan is to have 8 or more Don at the start of the turn to activate his searcher effect, letting you gain resources and control the top cards of your deck. This pairs perfectly with the 9-cost Sanji, giving you full knowledge of your top cards and enabling you to cheat out powerful threats like 9-cost Luffy, 9-cost Linlin, or 8-cost Katakuri.

The deck aims to establish two big bodies on the board and overwhelm your opponent from there. With a Leader at 6,000 Power, it’s tough for opponents to get attacks through, especially when you have Katakuri and Nami to block. Plus, the list includes Gum Gum Giant, Thunder Bagua, and Gear Two as Counter Events to help you push for a longer game.

For high-cost threats, the deck runs one copy of Gum Gum Red Roc, while Gravity Blade Raging Tiger can remove two of your opponent’s Characters, slowing them down and giving you the advantage.

Finally, the deck has two copies of Tony Tony Chopper, adding more blockers to protect your Leader against aggressive decks.

2nd Place Blue Yellow Nami

Cards: 51

Gum-Gum Fire-Fist Pistol Red Hawk

Blue Yellow Nami is a solid deck in the current meta, although not quite at the level of Blue Purple or Green Purple Luffy. Nami’s a value Leader, drawing a card whenever you or your opponent takes a Life card. However, the draw effect only triggers if you have seven cards or fewer in hand, so managing your hand size is crucial. Nami can also trash a card to gain a +2,000 Power boost during your opponent’s turn, making it especially hard for opponents to land attacks.

Kozuki Oden has quickly become a staple in Blue Yellow Nami decks, especially with the addition of the ST22 cards. His ability makes him tough to remove, and he can also re-stand to attack twice, giving you a strong win condition.

This list runs four copies of Pudding to consistently reduce your opponent’s hand size. Teach is also included, enabling more plays on certain turns. Finally, the deck leans heavily on low-cost Blockers to protect Nami and your rested Characters from enemy attacks. Those low-cost blockers can be played as targets for Kozuki Oden to return to your hand and re-stand himself.

We aren’t too worried about getting our opponent low on Life cards. The 8-cost Eustass”Captain” Kid is there to trash the top card in the opponent’s Life Area, getting you closer to winning the game.

Top 4 Yellow Enel

Cards: 51
Enel
1
Shirahoshi
3
Zeus
4
Charlotte Brulee
4
Capone"Gang"Bege
3
X.Drake
2

4
Eustass"Captain"Kid
4
Yamato
4
Portgas.D.Ace
3
Enel
4
You're the One Who Should Disappear.

I didn’t expect to see Yellow Enel make it to the top 4! With the loss of Kingdom Come, the deck has struggled against high-cost Characters, often forced to attack into them using the 10-cost Yellow Enel.

However, with the rise of Belo Betty, Yellow Enel has emerged as one of the best answers to aggressive decks. It thrives on Life cards, making it incredibly difficult for opponents to win without multiple attackers ready to go. Leader Enel’s effect of giving you a Life card whenever you fall to zero adds another layer of defense, making it even tougher for opponents to close out the game.

Yamato, Ace, and the 10-cost Enel serve as the deck’s late-game win conditions, providing massive bodies that are hard to remove. They also give you an extra Life card when they come into play, forcing your opponent to mount another wave of attacks while giving you additional resources.

Top 8 Red Yellow Belo Betty

Cards: 51
Belo Betty
1
Belo Betty
4
Bartholomew Kuma
2
Zeus
4
Koala
4
Inazuma
4
Karasu
4
Emporio.Ivankov
4
Karasu
4
Lindbergh
4
Bartholomew Kuma
4
Sabo
2
Emporio.Ivankov
3
Koala
3
Revolutionary Army HQ
4

Red Yellow Belo Betty is one of the best anti-meta choices right now, able to take down both Blue Purple and Green Purple Luffy, the two dominant decks in OP11. The Revolutionary Army strategy revolves around flooding the board with attackers, using Emporio Ivankov and Koala to cheat out Characters and apply pressure.

With Leader Belo Betty’s +3,000 Power boost, three of your Characters become serious threats, forcing your opponent to either give up Life cards or burn resources to protect their Leader. Karasu is a key card in this deck, reducing the Power of your opponent’s Leader or a Character by 1,000, making it even harder for them to fend off your attacks.

This is a glass cannon deck, so your game plan is to mostly pressure the opposing Leader and force them to go for a defensive playstyle.

The Purple Luffy deck has been struggling in the West meta, but it’s thriving in the East! As a Ramp Leader, Purple Luffy takes a Life card to gain an Active Don, letting you play higher-cost Characters a turn earlier. This helps you drop bigger threats and overwhelm your opponent quickly.

Key cards include 4-cost Zoro-Juurou and 5-cost San-Gorou, they’re 6,000 Power Characters that add more cards to your hand. San-Gorou, in particular, demands removal, forcing your opponent to divert resources to deal with him and shut down your value plays.

The 7-cost Luffy-Tarou is one of the deck’s best plays, cheating out either Zoro-Juurou or 5-cost San-Gorou and setting up a two-Character turn to swing the board in your favor. Meanwhile, the 8-cost Charlotte Katakuri acts as your wall—he’s a blocker that can re-stand himself, so you can attack and still have him ready to defend.

For win conditions, the deck leans on the 9-cost Luffy for aggressive Rush attacks. He swings in for 10,000 Power on the turn he’s played, giving you the aggression needed to finish off your opponent in the following turn.
