Amazing games at the One Piece Mulheim Regional, where some of the best players had tight and long games, almost going into a tiebreaker. One particular Leader that was crushing it at the regionals is Black Rob Lucci, managing to beat every Leader in his path and securing first place at Mulheim! We had different Leaders in the top 4, proving that we’re a diverse and balanced meta where players aren’t forced to play a certain deck or two to go far in a tournament.
We’ll take a look at the top 4 decks and discuss their lists. Let’s get started!
1st Black Rob Lucci

Leer went on an insane win record, piloting Black Rob Lucci until the finals, where he went head to head against none other than Red Shanks. Even though Red Shanks is the top meta performer, it crumbled against Rob Lucci, losing 0-2. Black Rob Lucci lost multiple key cards to bans, and still, the Leader refuses to fall out of the meta.
Black Rob Lucci is a control deck, using Brook, Rob Lucci, and Kaido to keep the field under its control by removing the opponent’s Characters. Since your removal effects are tied to the Character’s cost, the list has multiple cost reduction cards like Laboon and Tempest Kick to help put them in range for your removal.
Laboon and Tashigi have proved to be great additions to this list after the Moria ban. Laboon gives you another cost-reduction method to remove a Character; right now, it’s a staple in Rob Lucci. As for Tashigi, she’s a meta call to answer KO immunity Characters like Jesus Burgess.
2nd Red Shanks

We always see Red Shanks go far, making finals many times, however, the Red Leader just can’t seem to secure the bag and win it all. Regardless, making second place in a Regionals is still a huge achievement to accomplish.
Shanks’ effect allows you to reduce the Power of an opponent’s attacker by 1,000, making it easier for you to dodge an attack and prolong the game. The list has a couple of aggressors like Sanji, Luffy, and Monkey D.Dragon, but it also includes control cards like Ben.Beckmann and Silvers Rayleigh.
10-cost Shanks is the star of the show, reducing the Power of all of the opponent’s Characters by -1,000 and going for a Rush attack to either KO a rested Character or take the opponent’s Life card.
3rd Blue Purple Vinsmoke Reiju

Blue Purple Reiju went far in the Mulheim Regionals, but ended up losing to Rob Lucci. This deck uses Porche’s effect to cheat out 2-cost Reiju or 4-cost Ichiji, enabling you to play an aggressive early game and overwhelm the opposing player.
The plan is to cheat out the higher cost Vinsmoke Character by returning Don, building a strong field presence with multiple attackers, and forcing the opposing player to take a defensive approach. You don’t easily run out of resources in this deck, having Leader effect and 4-cost Reiju will keep giving you cards in your hand.
4th Blue Doflamingo

(actual Doffy list still not available, but it runs 7-cost Doffy)
Blue Doflamingo finishes in 4th place, and more players are adopting the 7-cost Doffy in their list as another method to develop a Character while also removing an opponent’s Character. Alongside 4-cost Law and Jozu, you can make it difficult for the opposing player to match your mid-game, forcing them to go for a defensive game plan as you focus down their Leader and try to rush them down.
