Solo Leveling has quickly grown to become one of the most-watched anime in 2024 and 2025. Anime fans are rooting for Jinwoo Sung as he battles deadly monsters and clears high-rank dungeons.
We were left at an intense cliffhanger on episode 5, where Jinwoo Sung entered a dungeon as a porter along with a Rank B team. Little did they know, they were in a dungeon way above their rank, as Orcs attacked and overpowered them. Luckily, Jinwoo Sung was there to offer help without them detecting his power, but he couldn’t keep hiding his strength as they were forced to go deeper into the dungeon to meet Kargalgan, the High Orc Shaman.
Season 2 Episode 6
The episode starts off with Tank Son Kihoon trying to protect his team and initiating an attack on Kargalgan, High Orc Shaman. That, unfortunately, didn’t end well for Kihoon, and he was getting bodied, only bringing more fear to his team. At this point, the Hunters Guild’s secondary strike team has completely given up spiritually, and just as Kihoon is about to receive the final blow, Jinwoo rushes for help, saving his life.
The whole team stunned by Jinwoo’s incredible strength, Kihoon feeling destroyed and on the verge of death, agrees to allow Jinwoo to take on the Orcs on his own.
The battle took a different turn as Jinwoo summoned his Shadow Army to fight off the Orcs, what seemed like a fierce battle, quickly shifted into Jinwoo’s favor. Jinwoo humiliated Kargalgan as he countered each of his attacks, leaving him with nothing but rage.
At some point, Jinwoo seems to be enjoying the fight, not even breaking a sweat as he fights Kargalgan head-on, even beating his giant form and using Kargalgan’s size to his advantage.
Cha Hae-In finding out that Jinwoo is in the dungeon pushes her to enter it herself, armed with nothing but a pick axe, she ventures into the dungeon, trying to learn more about who Jinwoo really is. With Chief Woo learns that this isn’t a C-level Dungeon, he rushes in for aid with two other hunters, only to find that Jinwoo managed to beat the High Orc Shaman on his own and has taken him to join his Shadow Army.
Chief Woo asks the Strike team to keep Jinwoo’s strength a secret. Relieved to stay alive, the team gladly accepted to keep Jinwoo’s secret hidden and thanked him for saving them.
Cha Hae-In impressed by Jinwoo’s strength is eager to learn more about his strength and can be seen flustered around him.
