Donquixote Doflaminngo

Explanation

Blue Doflamingo prefers to go first, aiming to cheat out {The Seven Warlords of the Sea} Characters from the top of the deck. By using 3 Don, you’re essentially playing a 4-cost Character while attacking for 7,000 Power with Leader Doffy.

With Jinbe’s support, you can go wide on the board, applying more pressure through multiple attacks. The deck rarely runs out of resources, thanks to Leader Doffy’s effect and key cards like the 4-cost Edward Weevil, 4-cost Gecko Moria, and 4-cost Boa Hancock. For control, cards like Gum-Gum Red Roc and Gravity Blade Raging Tiger help remove opponent’s Characters from play.

By combining Leader Doffy’s effect with 1-cost Perona, you gain control over which card you’ll cheat out when attacking, allowing you to play the best Character depending on the game state and strategy you go with.

Rob Lucci

Explanation

Black Rob Lucci is renowned for his control prowess—if you’re not frustrating opponents by removing away their win conditions, you’re doing something wrong. The 4-cost Rob Lucci is the MVP of this deck, capable of KOing two Characters on the turn he’s played. Opponents’ Characters need to be at 2 and 1 cost for Lucci to KO, so we use cost-reduction cards to bring them within range of his KO effect.

Gecko Moria is the deck’s strongest play, enabling you to flood the field with multiple Characters. The straightforward strategy is to play Rob Lucci through Gecko Moria, along with a Helmeppo, Tsuru, or Spandam. Alternatively, you can bring back Rebecca as a blocker, who will then play Spandine, setting up Rob Lucci from the trash. Jack offers another method to KO Characters; though you’ll need to rest him to activate his effect, it’s usually worth it to slow your opponents down.

BY Luffy

Explanation

Black Yellow Monkey.D.Luffy is a combo deck that thrives against Black decks. Dropping to 0 Life cards is usually not the way to go, but for B/Y Luffy, this enables its combo plans, getting access to Adult brothers from the Trash and placing them in your Life area. You’ll then play those Adults by activating the kid brothers.

Gecko Moria is the main reason this deck exists in the meta. On 10 Don you’re planning to play Gecko Moria and bring back two of the kids, enabling you to play out two Adults on the field.

Green Bonney

Explanation

Green Bonney can be frustrating to face, largely due to her ability to rest one of the opponent’s attackers. While the Bonney player needs 1 Active Don to trigger the effect, it significantly slows down the opponent’s offense and preserves the Bonney player’s Counter resources.

This deck excels at a defensive game plan, stalling out games until high-cost threats start dropping. Blockers, 5-cost Bonney, and Carrot further reinforce this strategy, buying time to either clear the opponent’s field or transition into a more aggressive stance against their Leader.

As for 7-cost Hody Jones, he’s your main aggressor, dropping on the field, resting two characters, and going for an immediate attack with his Rush keyword. Whether you focus on clearing the field or attacking the opponent’s leader will depend on the game’s current state.

Enel

Explanation

Enel is the king of Life resources, waiting for opponents to go all-in on an attack and try to survive with 1 Life card. Whenever Enel drops to 0 Life cards, he can trash a card from your hand to place the top card of your deck into your Life area. This can be triggered once per turn, so you’ll need to protect the Life card you just gained.

With cards like Gedatsu, Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, and Kingdom Come, you can KO your opponent’s Characters, slowing down their attack. The goal isn’t to fully clear their field but to reduce the number of attackers. Fewer attackers mean they’re less likely to pose a serious threat beyond Enel’s Life gain mechanic.

The 8-cost Katakuri offers a versatile effect, allowing you to either remove one of your opponent’s Characters or place one of your own in the Life Area. If you have a Character with a trigger effect, like the 5-cost Shirahoshi, you can place her on top of your Life cards to activate that trigger.

Yamato and Portgas D. Ace are your strongest late-game plays, providing a Life card while acting as large, hard-to-remove bodies. To maximize their effects, you’ll want to be at less than 2 Life cards when playing them.

Purple Monkey D.Luffy

Explanation

This deck uses Leader Purple Luffy‘s Ramp effect to play high-cost Characters as early as possible. So by turn 2, you can start developing a formidable field presence to put pressure on the opponent.

Son-Gorou, Zoro-Juurou, and Queen offer resource value through their effects, making sure you can continue to make big plays. 7-cost Luffy-Tarou is a strong addition to the list, cheating out a 5-cost or less {Straw Hat Crew} type Character to go wide.

For the late game, you’ll rely on 9-cost Kaido and 9-cost Charlotte Linlin. 9-cost Kaido KO’s a 6-cost Character and goes for a Rush attack, creating pressure on the turn he’s played. 9-cost Chalotte Linlin removes one of the opponent’s Characters from play, lowering their field presence. You can run cards like 10-cost Monkey D.Luffy and 10-cost Kaido & Linlin.

Blue Nami

Explanation

Blue Nami plays the One Piece card game differently, instead of focusing on damaging the opponent’s Leader, it takes a defensive stance, countering attacks with the many protection Events it has in the list. At the same time, Nami players are trying to fulfill Leader Nami’s win condition, which reads “
When your deck is reduced to 0, you win the game instead of losing, according to the rules.”

So the longer the game takes, the better the odds are for you to win the game as you draw and trash cards, aiming to get your deck empty as fast as possible.

Black Smoker

Explanation

Black Smoker is a control deck that can KO one Character each turn. 5-cost Tashigi is the strongest play in the mid-game, allowing you to shift the game in your favor. The list also has Brook and Jack as other KO options to keep control of the field. 8-cost Gecko Moria is one of your strongest plays, offering extra value by playing Characters from the trash and developing multiple Characters in one turn.

Leader Smoker has a built-in cost-reduction effect, but the list has tons of cost-reducers like Helmeppo, Hina, and Ice Age, to help you set up your KO effects.

Katakuri

Explanation

Yellow Katakuri relies on early Triggers to put pressure on opponents. Using your Leader effect, you can boost your Leader’s Power by +1,000, going for stronger attacks and simultaneously manipulating your or your opponent’s Life Area. Usually, you want to look at the top card in your Life area, and if it’s a useful trigger, you’ll keep it at the top so that when your opponent damages your Leader, you can activate it.

The late-game relies on 7-cost and 10-cost Charlotte Linlin. 7-cost Charlotte Linlin forces opponents to make a tough call, either giving you an Extra Life card or trashing one of their own. As for 10-cost Charlotte Linlin, she’s doing both, giving you a Life card and trashing an opponent’s Life card, putting you way ahead in resources, and making it easier for you to win the game. Both Linlins have high Power, so they can go for attacks that can be challenging to counter.

Blue Purple Vinsmoke Reiju

Explanation

The Purple-Blue Vinsmoke Reiju deck revolves around Vinsmoke Characters like Reiju, Niji, and Ichiji as key cards of its strategy. The lower-cost versions can cheat out their higher-cost counterparts from the Trash or hand but require you to return 1 Don to activate their effects. Returning a Don also triggers your Leader’s effect, allowing you to draw a card for extra value.

The 3-cost Porche sets up an aggressive tempo, playing one of your low-cost Vinsmoke Characters, who in turn cheats out their higher-cost version—developing two Characters in the early game.

8-cost Vinsmoke Judge is the deck’s strongest play, enabling you to flood the field with multiple Vinsmoke Characters. The sheer number of Characters can overwhelm opponents, setting you up for a decisive turn to close out the game.

Black Luffy

Explanation

Black Luffy is a control deck that focuses on KOing one Character per turn. The Leader effect gives +1 cost to all your Characters, potentially shutting down certain plays depending on the matchup. Black Luffy gains +1,000 Power if there’s an 8-cost Character in play, packing a punch when you go for the attack and lowering your need for Counter cards.

3-cost Brook, 4-cost Rob Lucci, 5-cost Sanji, and 7-cost Jack are the Characters this deck relies on to weaken the opponent’s field and maintain its control over the game. 8-cost Gecko Moria can play Rob Lucci from the Trash, providing value and a removal method to put opponents behind.

BR Marco

Explanation

Blue Marco reduces the Power of an opponent’s Character, making them more vulnerable to your attackers or KO effects. Cards 5-cost Marco and 8-cost Silvers Rayleigh can KO those weakened Characters, helping you maintain control over the opponent’s field.

Marco’s ability to place a card from your hand on top of the deck pairs perfectly with 9-cost Sanji, who checks the top card of your deck and plays it if it’s a 9-cost or less Character. This lets you cheat out high-cost 8-cost Silvers Rayleigh or 9-cost Edward Newgate.

The 9-cost Edward Newgate also boosts Marco by +2,000 Power until the end of the opponent’s turn, so when played through Sanji, you’re developing two win conditions while making it even harder for your opponent to close out the game.

Red Zoro

Explanation

An aggressive Red deck that floods the field with Characters and boosts their Power with Leader effect, threatening opponents with multiple attacks. Rush attackers keep the pressure, not giving the opposing player the time to breathe with the immediate attacks.
