Bandai Namco announced their ban list for Japan’s OP08 meta today! Red Purple Trafalgar Law and Enies Lobby will be banned on the 1st of September. The ban list also applies to the West meta and will be effective starting the 6th of September.
Leader Law has dominated the OP08 meta, mostly because of Black Maria’s ramp effect. However, Bandai decided to remove the Leader entirely from play so they don’t have the same incident happen in future metas.
Black Rob Lucci is another deck that kept up with R/P Law, known for its control power. The main reason this deck is consistent in the meta is Enies Lobby, the Stage offers a free -2 cost reduction every turn, making its game plan more consistent.
