The Greninja Snorlax Giratina ex deck is making waves in Pokémon Pocket meta! Rare Candy has given players new ways to innovate decks, and this makes use of it by getting Greninja in play a turn earlier to start going for the Water Shuriken ability.
This deck is using Water Energy only to make sure you can attack with Greninja and so that Irida can heal your damaged Pokémon. Every single Pokémon in this list can become a win condition, capable of attacking and knocking out a Pokémon, especially with Greninja‘s support.

How to Play
Snorlax Tank

Snorlax is a 140 HP single-point Pokémon, capable of absorbing early hits as you ramp with Giratina and evolve into your Greninja. You can also use Snorlax as an attacker by attaching 2 Water Energy to it and playing Barry to reduce the cost of its Collapse attack by 2 Energy. A 100 damage from Snorlax + the support damage from Greninja‘s Water Shuriken ability can get you a knock-out.
Snorlax will fall asleep after activating Collapse, but you’re usually only trying to attack with it once. The main issue with Snorlax is its high retreat cost, so you’ll usually have to wait until the opposing player knocks out Snorlax before getting another Pokémon into the Active spot.
We often want Snorlax in the Active spot at the start of the game. So if we get a Froakie early on, we could retreat it to the safety of our Bench and have Snorlax take its spot to tank hits and potentially go for a Collapse attack.
Greninja Support

We want to have Froakie on the Bench as early as possible and evolve it into Greninja using a Rare Candy. We can then start activating Water Shuriken once every turn, dealing 20 damage to one of the opponent’s Pokémon. We can support our attacker by dealing 20 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokémon, but we can also damage a Pokémon on the Bench, perfect if we’re trying to snipe a damaged or low HP Pokémon for the Match Points.
Greninja can become an attacker. For only 2 Energy, you can activate Mist Call to deal 60 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokémon. It’s not the strongest attack, but combined with Water Shuriken, you are dealing 80 damage in one turn.
Giratina ex Win Condition

Giratina ex is another win condition in this deck, using its Broken-Space Bellow to ramp Psychic Energy. You technically need 3 Psychic Energy and 1 Water Energy to activate Chaotic Impact, so you skip an attack turn with one of your Pokémon to get your Psychic Energy on Giratina ex.
Chaotic Impact is your strongest attack in this deck, dealing 130 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokémon, but it comes with the drawback of self-damaging for 20. Combined with Water Shuriken, you’re pushing 150 damage in one turn.
Draw Cards

Poke Ball can draw Snorlax, Froakie, or Giratina ex, ensuring you have the early Pokémon you need for your strategy.
Professor’s Research is a Supporter card that draws 2 cards. Since it’s a Supporter card, you want to play it early in the game, since you’ll want to play your other Supporters in the late game.
Healing

Pokemon Center Lady heals one of your Pokémon for 30 damage. It also removes all Special Conditions from it, which can come in handy against certain decks. As for Irida, it heals all your Pokémon in play for 40 damage if they have a Water Energy attached to them, a great way to prevent your opponent from getting a knock-out on their upcoming turn.
Tools

Rocky Helmet is great on Snorlax, dealing 20 damage back to the opponent’s attacker, which can help you knock it out with your attack or Water Shuriken.
Switch

Cyrus can switch a damaged Benched Pokémon to the Active spot to attack directly. With the help of Water Shuriken, you can damage a Pokémon and pull it to the Active spot to knock it out.
Other Cards to Include

- Since we’re heavily reliant on finding Rare Candy, Iono makes sense to shuffle back the cards in our hand and draw that many cards, helping us fix our hand and find Rare Candy.
- Poison Barb complements your Rocky Helmet, poisoning the opponent’s Active Pokémon after it damages your Active Pokémon, slowly dealing damage to it.
- Ilima can return Snorlax to your hand, bypassing the retreat cost, preventing your opponent from getting a knockout, and moving another attacker to the Active spot to carry the game.
