Destroy Deck Guide – Marvel Snap

The destroy deck is all about, well, you guessed it, destroying things! This is one of the strongest decks in Marvel Snap meta. It uses cards that can’t be destroyed to gain value from card destroyers.

It focuses on its own board development, allowing you to beef up a couple of cards to win locations.

Destroy Targets

When this is destroyed, return it to your hand with double the Power.
When this is discarded or destroyed, regenerate it at a random location and you get +1 Energy next turn.
When this is discarded or destroyed, regenerate it with +2 Power at a random location.

These are targets you want to destroy and get value out of.

Every time you destroy Deadpool you’ll double his Power. You’ll likely have him at 4 Power in the majority of your games and even 8 Power if you manage to destroy him 3 times. Deadpool costing only 1 Energy means it won’t be much of a hassle to replay him.

X-23 will regenerate at a random location whenever she’s destroyed. The +1 Energy she provides will be crucial for the upcoming turn to set up more plays. Endure that you can take advantage of the +1 Energy before you destroy X-23.

As for Wolverine, he functions similarly to X-23 in terms of regenerating to a random location every time he’s destroyed. However, Wolverine gains +2 Power every time he’s destroyed, making him the perfect target for your destroy units.

Eventually, Wolverine will accumulate a lot of Power and can become a win condition to secure a Location.

Destroyers

On Reveal: Destroy your other cards here. +2 Power for each destroyed.
On Reveal: Destroy ALL 1-Cost cards.
On Reveal: Destroy your other cards here. Add their Power to this card.
On Reveal: Destroy your other cards here.

Carnage and Venom function similarly, with the ability to destroy other cards in the same location to boost up their Power. Carnage is limited to +2 Power per card destroyed. Whereas Venom will add up the Power of cards he destroys to his Power, this turns into a winning play too.

Deathlock is a low-cost 5 Power card. It will destroy everything in the Location it’s played, so make sure to play it in Locations where you don’t lose any of your cards.

Killmonger serves as a valuable tool to destroy all 1-Cost cards. This can weaken the opponent’s side while allowing them to get more out of Deadpool and X-23.

Optimal Plays

On Reveal: After you play your next card, cast a spell. (The spell changes each turn.)
On Reveal: Merge this with one of your cards here.

Nico Minoru’s card destruction spell + card draw synergizes perfectly with the deck. You can play Wolverine, destroy him, and draw two cards. Wolverine’s effect will regenerate him with more Power.

Hulk Buster also works well with Nico’s copy ability, letting you create a second Hulk Buster with its merged Power.

Late Game Cards

On Reveal: Destroy one of your other cards here to copy it at the other locations.
Ongoing: Has the combined Power of all cards destroyed this game.
Costs 1 less for each card destroyed this game.

The late game-winning plays! Arnim Zola allows you to destroy a card and make a copy of it at other locations. This synergizes with Wolverine, allowing to create two copies of him in the game.

Knull is another massive play to ensure you win a specific location. The combined Power of all destroyed cards into Knull should be enough of a Power shift in a specific location.

Although Death costs 8 Energy, the more cards you destroy throughout the game the less energy you’ll have to spend to play her. Getting her low enough to even 0 energy shouldn’t be a difficult task for this deck.
