Cerebro 2 Deck Guide – Marvel Snap

The Cerebro 2 gained insane popularity recently after an outstanding performance on the ranked ladder. If you’re looking to start your climb this combo deck is the best way to do it!

The majority of the cards in your deck have 2 Power, this is deliberate to get the most value out of Cerebro, giving a boost of Power to all cards on the board with 2 Power.

The majority of the cards in the deck have 2 Power so when Cerebro is played, all of them get the +2 Power boost. Although they have low Power, your cards still have powerful abilities that synergize together to help you win games.

1-costs

On Reveal: After you play your next card, cast a spell. (The spell changes each turn.)
You can move this once.

The early 1-cost 2 Power cards. Nightcrawler can move once to another location, which comes in handy if you’re looking to win another Location or keep it as a threat your opponent will have to keep in mind.

Nico Minoru lets you cast a spell, that spell will change every turn. One powerful combo is to get the +2 Power to the next card you play. You can combo this with Cerebro, giving it +2 Power, which allows Cerebro to buff itself by 2, becoming a 4 Power card.

2-costs

Ongoing: Nobody can play cards that cost 4, 5, or 6 here.
On Reveal: Add a Sinister Clone here with the same Power.
On Reveal: Next turn, you get +1 Energy.
On Reveal: Set all cards here to their base Power.

Goose is nice to lock the opponent from playing higher-cost cards on a ceratin Location, this can auto win you one Location.

Mister Sinister’s Clone ability helps you go wide on one location and the Clone will the Sinister Clone will benefit from the Cerebro and Blue Marvel buffs. So technically, we’re gaining way more than just 2 Power from the Sinister Clone.

Psylocke is now a 2 Power card, which means she synergizes with this deck’s game plan! The +1 Energy she provides will help us set up for a more powerful upcoming turn. The extra Energy means we’ll be able to play more cards and swarm all locations.

The Combo

Ongoing: Your highest-Power cards have +2 Power.
On Reveal: If the last card you played has an Ongoing, copy its text. (if it’s in play)

Cerebro is the core of this deck’s game plan. It’s ongoing ability buffs the card with the higher power by +2. Since all cards are 2 Power, all those cards will get the +2 Power at the same time. This is an insanely huge power boost, that’ll shift the Power fight for Locations in your favor.

Mystique wants to copy the ongoing effect of Cerebro or Blue Marvel. She provides an additional Power boost, leaving opponents in shambles.

Other Cards with 2 Power

On Reveal: Add 2 Broodlings here with the same Power.
On Reveal: Flood this location. Next turn is the last turn cards can be played here.
On Reveal: Remove the text from cards with On Reveal abilities in your opponent’s hand.

Brood pushes our swarm game plan to another level with 2 Broodlings it summons on the board! They’re all perfect targets for the ongoing game plan!

With Goose locking down 1 Location, Storm can lock another! It’ll force opponents to play their cards on the Location she’s played in before it’s locked. Storm can also change a Location that affects our game plan negatively.

Playing Leech as early as possible can ruin the opponent’s game plan by removing the On Reveal abilities of cards in their hands. We can set up a Leech on turn 3, by playing Nico Minoru on turn 2.

The Last Buff

Ongoing: Your other cards have +1 Power.

Since we’re swarming Locations, Blue Marvel’s Ongoing ability has a huge effect on the game! Blue Marvel’s 3 Power might seem counter inituitive, ruining our 2 Power synergy plan. However, his +1 Power boost to all other cards means the 2 Power cards are now 3 Power, getting a stat boost from Cerebro along with Blue Marvel.
