The Pokemon Pocket community has been organizing tournaments for players from all over the world to play in! These tournaments are already bringing in hundreds of players, and we’re still just starting! Here are the top decks that performed in recent Pocket Pocket A2 Space-Time Smackdown tournaments!
Darkrai ex Magnezone

This deck uses Darkness Energy only to activate Darkrai ex’s Nightmare Aura and deal 20 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokemon. Eventually, you can attack with Darkrai ex if need be, dealing 80 damage with its attack.
Druddigon is on the list to tank early hits, dealing 20 damage back to the opponent with its Rough Skin ability.
As for Magnezone, it acts as the heavy hitter, dealing 110 damage with Thunder Blast. However, you will need Lightning Energy to activate it, and this is where Magneton’s Volt Charge comes into use, ramping up Lightning Energy and ensuring you can activate Thunder Blast at least two times.
Magenzone Hitmonlee Marshadow

This deck uses Fighting-type Energy only to make sure you can attack with Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Marshadow as early as possible. The goal is to present early pressure as you evolve Magnemite and Magneton.
Magneton’s Volt Charge is a key ability for this deck to work, allowing you ramp Lightning Energy and make sure you can attack with Magnezone when it joins the battle. 110 damage can knock out a Pokemon, especially a damaged one, getting you closer to winning games.
Palkia ex Vaporeon

Palkia ex is the main damage dealer, pushing 150 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokemon and 20 damage to each of their Benched Pokemon with Dimensional Storm. Activating Dimanseional Storm forces you to discard 3 Water Energy, so it’s Energy hungry, but this list is built to support Palkia ex.
The list has Manaphy and Misty as ramp cards, helping you get extra Water Energy to get your Palkia ex ready to attack. Vaporeon then backs you up with Wash Out ability, moving the extra Water Energy Manaphy gave to Palkia ex to ensure it can go for another attack.
Darkrai ex Weavile ex

The Darkness deck, Darkrai ex Weavile ex. Weavile ex’s Scratching Nails deals 30 damage, but it becomes a 70-damage attack if the opponent’s Active Pokemon is damaged. this is where Darkrai ex shines, damaging the opponent’s Active Pokemon for 20 using Nightmare Aura, which enables your Weavile ex’s Scratching Nails attack.
Gyarados ex Greninja

Explanation
Druddigon is on the list to tank early hits as you work on evolving your Pokemon. Druddigon’s Rough Skin will deal a bit of damage back to the opponent’s attack, making it weaker to your upcoming attacks.
Gyarados ex has a high-cost attack, so we need to use Misty to potentially, attach Water Energy on Gyarados ex. Rampaging Whirlpool deals 140 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokemon and will discard an Energy from a random Pokemon.
Greninja is the backup damage, using its Water Shuriken to deal 20 damage to any of the opponent’s Pokemon. You can combine Water Shuriken with Gyarados ex’s attack to knock out up to 160 HP Pokemon, or target a damaged Pokemon on the Bench and knock it out.
Charizard ex Moltres ex

Explanation
You want Moltres ex in the Active spot as you evolve Charmander to Charmeleon and get Charizard ex in play. Moltres ex’s Inferno Dance flips a coin 3 times and for every heads you can attach a Fire Energy to your Benched Pokemon. This gets more Fire Energy on Charizard ex, setting the stage for the Crismon Storm attack. Crimson Storm deals 200 damage, knocking out anything in its path. However, you have to discard two Fire Energy from Charizard ex, so you have to make sure you have more than 4 Energy on Charizard ex to ensure you can activate it twice in a row.
Exeggutor ex Celebi ex Serperior

Explanation
The Grass-type deck relies on Celebi ex as its main win condition. Celebi ex’s Powerful Bloom flips a coin for each Energy attached to Celebi ex, and for each heads you get, Powerful Bloom will deal 50 damage. So the more Energy you have on Celebi ex, the more coins you flip, and the higher the odds you deal more damage.
As for Serperior, it supports the Celebi ex win condition through the Jungle Totem ability. Jungle Totem counts each Grass Energy as 2, which means having 2 Grass Energy on Celebi ex will count as 4, giving you more coins to flip.
Exeggutor ex is great for the early game, only needing 1 Energy to start attacking and potentially dealing 80 damage per attack. It’s also quiet tanky so it can buy you time until your Celebi + Serperior combo is ready.
Mewtwo Gardevoir

Explanation
This deck uses Mewtwo ex as the main damage dealer, pushing 50 damage with Psychic Sphere and 150 damage with Psydrive. You’ll rely on Psydrive to carry the late-game, but the 4 Energy cost will take you a while to set up. Gardevoir’s Psy Shadow comes to use here, letting you give your Active Psychic Pokemon 1 Psychic Energy a turn, speeding up your Mewtwo ex’s Psydrive attack.
Mew Ex is a secondary win condition, copying the attack of the opponent’s Active Pokemon with Genome Hacking. You’ll use Mew Ex when opponent has an Active Pokemon with a high-power attack, allowing to you knock it out with one attack.
Dialga ex Melmetal

Dialga ex is the ramp Pokemon in this list, going for Metalic Turbo attack to give one of your Pokemon 2 Metal Energy. We want to attach the Energy on Meltan/Melmetal and start going for Heavy Impact to deal 120 damage. Melmetal’s Hard Coat makes it harder for opponents to one-shot it, especially if you have Giant Cape attached to it.
Pikachu ex Pachirisu ex

Explanation
Pikachu and Pachirisu ex are early damage dealers, requiring 2 Lightning Energy to start attacking. Pikachu ex’s Circle Circuit deals 30 damage for each Benched Pokemon on your side, so you can go up to 90 damage per attack.
As for Pachirisu ex, its Sparking Gadget deals 40 damage, but if your Pokemon has a tool attached to it, Sparking Gadget will deal 80 damage instead!
Zapdos ex and Electabuzz are alternative damage dealers.
Dialga ex Yanmega ex

This list has Yanmega ex and Mew ex as the damage dealers, both requiring Colorless Energy to attack, which makes Dialga ex’s Metalic Turbo ramp perfect here. You can attach 2 Metal Energy on Yanmega ex or Mew ex to get them closer to attack.
Yanmega ex’s Air Slash deals 120 damage, but forces you to discard an Energy from it. As for Mew ex’s Genome, it copies one of the opponent’s Active Pokemon’s attack, perfect if your opponent has an attack worth copying.
