Best Pokemon Pocket Tournament Decks – Pokemon Pocket

The Pokemon Pocket community has been organizing tournaments for players from all over the world to play in! These tournaments are already bringing in hundreds of players, and we’re still just starting! Here are the top decks that performed in recent Pocket Pocket tournaments!

1- Pikachu ex

The Pikachu ex deck is seeing the most success in these tournaments, with different lists floating around. Pikachu ex is the main carry, dealing 30 damage for each Pokemon on your Bench, so you’re pushing up to 90 damage! Zapdos ex can be a secondary win condition, the Thunder Hurricane can be a real damage dealer, potentially hitting 200 damage.

Other versions run Basic Pikachu + Raichu or Voltorb + Electrode.

2- Mewtwo Gardevoir ex

The Mewtwo ex is the main carry, using Psydrive to deal 150 damage, enough to knock out most Pokemon with one hit. Getting 4 Energy on Mewtwo ex is hard enough, Psydrive will discard two psychic energy, preventing you from activating Psydrive multiple times in a row. This is why we have Gardevoir in the list, giving Mewtwo ex an extra psychic energy, ensuring it keeps the pressure on the opponent.

3- Charizard Moltres

Moltres ex is the best Pokemon to have in the Active spot, activating Inferno Dance as early as possible and giving your benched Pokemon extra Fire Energy. We’re wracking Energy on Charmander and Charmeleon until we get Charizard ex in play. We want to have 5+ Energy on Charizard ex for his Crimson Storm attack, dealing 200 damage, which knocks out any Pokemon in its path. However, it will discard 2 Energy so you need extra Energy on Charizard ex to reactivate on the upcoming turn.

4- Blaine Aggro

This is an aggro cheap deck to build and have a choice in tournaments. The plan is to use Ninetales and Rapidash to dish out early damage and use Blaine to pump up your Pokemon’s damage and get knock outs before opponents can get their strategy active.

5- Marowak ex

Marowak ex is a coin flip Pokemon, using Boomerang to flip two coins, for each heads, you’ll deal 80 damage. So three outcomes every time you activate Boomerang: 0, 80, or 160 damage. The 160 damage can be tough to get, but hitting it on a high HP Pokemon can win you the game on the spot.

Sandslash’s 70 damage in another damage dealer if you’re forced to pull back Marowak ex or haven’t found him yet. But you can’t rely on him to win the game on his own, Marowak’s Boomerang is the main carry in this deck.

This list has two copies of Hitmonlee but he isn’t a must inclusion. He can attack the opponent’s Bench with Stetech Kick, potentially knocking out a damaged Pokemon and winning the game.

Starmie ex

Starmie ex is an aggressive deck that only needs 2 Water Energy to deal 90 damage with Hydro Splash. You want to win games quickly before opponents set up their strategy. Articuno ex can damage the opponent’s Bench, knocking out low-health Pokemon trying to stay safe in the back. Misty plays a crucial role in this deck, getting more Water Energy to your Pokemon so you can attack with them as early as possible.

7- Venusaur ex

Venusaur ex is a slow-paced deck, working on evolving Bulbasaur and Ivysaur as you attach Energy to them. So the early game will rely on Exeggutor ex, dealing 40 or 80 damage with Tropical Swing, and can stretch the game until Venusaur ex is ready to take over. Venusaur ex is a 190 HP Pokemon, so it doesn’t get knocked out easily. The Giant Bloom attack deals 100 damage and heals Venusaur ex for 30 damage, ensuring Venusaur ex can survive more attacks, especially when combined with Erika’s ability to heal 50 damage to a Grass Pokemon.
