The Ruby Sapphire is a ramp deck that uses cards like Fishbone Quill and Tipo – Growing Son to put more cards in your Inkwell and make stronger plays on the upcoming turns.

This deck revolves around items (Papwsicle, Vitalisphere, and Sapphire Coil) having cards like Hiram Flaversham – Toymaker, Scrooge McDuck – Resourceful Miser, and Maurice’s Workshop that synergize with them.

The list has two Tamatoas that offer more value through their effects. The new Tamatoa – Happy as a Clam returns 2 items cards from your discard to your hand when played on the board. Additionally, when Tamatoa – Happy as a Clam Quests, you can cheat out an Item from your hand, so you can go for the Lucky Dime win condition without using 7 Ink to play it.

The 8-cost Tamatoa – So Shiny! gives you an item card from your discard when played and when it quests. However, its actual strength lies in its Lore generation capabilities, gaining 1 Lore for each item in play. Combined with Lucky Dime, you can gain a lot of Lore in one turn to potentially win the game on the spot.

This Ruby Sapphire list is full of control cards such as Brawl, Madame Medusa – The Boss, Sisu, and Be Prepared to help slow down your opponent’s pace and prolong the game.

Maui – Half-Shark
4
Be Prepared
4

Another version of the Ruby Sapphire deck, which became popular in Set 7 and will likely remain a safe choice for players early into Set 7 meta. This list has Goofy – Super Goof to generate Lore whenever it challenges, and having Rush means you’ll gain 2 Lore on the turn he’s played. Maui – Half-Shark can return Action cards from your discard when it challenges, and having Evasive will make it difficult for your opponent to remove it. When you play an Action card while Maui – Half-Shark is in play, you’ll gain 1 Lore, accelerating your Lore generation.

A Pirate’s Life will drop your opponent by 2 Lore and give you 2 Lore, so you’re getting closer to 20 Lore and at the same time, slowing down your opponent from winning the game, which can be a game changer if they’re close to winning and you buy yourself more turns to win the game.

The Sapphire Steel Kiwi deck has 1-cost items, Pawpsicle and Fortisphere, that enable you to play Belle – Apprentice Inventor on turn 1, ensuring a strong early game. As for Alice – Savvy Sailor, she’s Questing for 2 Lore and shares the Ward keyword and gives +1 Lore to one of your Characters, giving them extra protection to ensure they remain in play. It’s great if you’re trying to protect Hiram Flaversham – Toymaker from a removal card.

John Silver – Ship’s Cook is a defensive play, preventing one of your opponent’s Characters from challenging, which could protect your exerted Characters, giving you an extra turn to use them for more Lore or to challenge an exerted Character.

Tamatoa – Happy as a Clam is the carry in this list, giving you access to your items from the discard, which adds more value to your hand.

Cogsworth – Grandfather Clock can protect your board with the +1 Resist he gives to your other Characters, and with the Ward keyword he has, your opponent will have to Challenge to banish him.

Ariel – Treasure Collector can be a win condition, giving you 4 Lore when she Quests and an extra 2 Lore if you have more items than your opponent, and let’s face it, with this list you’ll almost always have more items against most decks.

4
Cinderella – The Right One
3
A Whole New World
4
The Queen – Commanding Presence
4

2

The Amber Steel “Steelsong” runs multiple singers to sing your Songs, enabling you to play those Songs without sacrificing board development. You’ll rely on Ursula – Vanessa, Ariel – Spectacular Singer, and Prince Naveen – Ukulele Player to sing your Songs. Let the Storm Rage On, Strength of a Raging Fire, and And Then Along Came Zeus are control Songs to damage and banish opponent’s Characters, weakening their board state and helping you keep their side of the board in check.

Since we’re singing Songs, we’ll often be playing more cards than our opponent, so A While New World is a great play to refill our hand and potentially ruin our opponent’s hand by discarding valuable cards.

This list is running the Set 7 The Glass Slipper and Cinderella – The Right One synergy play. The Glass Slipper is a value card to search your deck for a Princess card and add it to your hand. You are banishing The Glass Slipper to activate its effect, and this is where Cinderella – The Right One comes to play, checking your discard for The Glass Slipper, and it then puts it at the bottom of your deck to give you 3 Lore, a great combo to get you closer to the 20 Lore mark.

Pluto – Guard Dog
2
Kida – Protector of Atlantis
3

The Dwarf’s Mine list quickly became popular in Set 6, and it’ll likely remain a choice among players in Set 7. This deck plays aggressively aiming to play multiple low-cost Characters per turn. The Seven Dwarfs’ Mine – Secure Fortress location is great for banishing your opponent’s Characters, through the 2 damage it deals whenever you move a Knight to it. Banishing a Character with this location will make it harder for the opposing player to challenge exerted Characters on your side of the board.

We also have Kida – Protector of Atlantis and Pluto – Guard Dog to protect our exerted Characters, giving us a high chance at Questing with them on the upcoming turn.

Anna – Ice Breaker
3
Merlin – Rabbit
4
Elsa – The Fifth Spirit
4
Belle – Accomplished Mystic
3
Hades – Infernal Schemer
2
Elsa – Spirit of Winter
2

This Blurple deck has Tipo – Growing Son and Sail The Azurite Sea as ramp cards to speed up its strategy. We’re running the bounce mechanic with Madam Mim – Snake and Madam Mim – Fox, returning Characters like Merlin – Rabbit and Merlin – Goat to trigger their abilities and gain more value from them.

Cheating out Belle – Accomplished Mystic on turn 1 by banishing an item can disrupt the opponent and slow them down. A 3|3 Character in the early game for just 1 Ink will be problematic, preventing your opponent from Questing with low stat Characters.

Anna – Ice Breaker, Belle – Accomplished Mystic, and Elsa – The Fifth Spirit are there to aid you in controlling your opponent’s board and slowing down their Lore generation. You’ll then have Hades – Infernal Schemer to remove one of the opponent’s Characters from play and Elsa – Spirit of Winter to exert two of the opponent’s Characters and prevent them from becoming ready on their upcoming turn.

3
We Don’t Talk About Bruno
4
Lucifer – Cunning Cat

Beast – Tragic Hero
3
Pete – Space Pirate
3

The discard Emerald Steel will bleed your opponent out of resources, having Ursula – Deceiver, Sudden Chill, Hypnotize, and We Don’t Talk about Bruno to discard cards from the opponent’s hand. This forces your opponent to rely on their top decks and will have to Ink important cards to ensure they keep up with our plays.

If Prince John – Greediest of All is on the board when you’re going for the discard plays, you’ll draw a card for each card your opponent discards, putting you ahead of your opponent in resources.

Pete – Space Pirate can prevent your opponent from making certain plays, shutting them down from singing Songs, which will slow certain decks in the late game and could prevent them from removing your Characters.

Clarabelle – Light on Her Hooves

The new Amber Emerald aggressive deck might catch your opponent’s off guard! This deck has many low-cost Characters to play multiple Characters in one turn and start Questing, having cards like Daisy Duck – Donald’s Date and Piglet – Pooh Pirate Captain to aggro your opponent by gaining Lore and force them to play defensively, trying to remove your Characters before they Quest again.

Since we’re playing a lot of cards, we need draw options to keep our engine running. Lady – Miss Park Avenue lets us grab two 2-cost Characters from your discard, to ensure we continue developing the board with Questers. Clarabelle – Light on Her Hooves is another value Character, drawing us cards until we have an equal number of cards as our opponent, and since we are playing low-cost cards, we’ll often have less cards than the opposing player.

Going wide on the board also reduces the cost of Tramp – Street-Smart Dog, playing him on an earlier turn without having to wait until turn 7. You’ll draw cards equal to the number of Characters in play and then discard the ones you don’t need. Lilo – Escape Artist is a great card to discard since we can later play her on the board through her effect.

Emerald Amethyst combines bounce and discard mechanics in a single strategy. Cards like Madam Mim – Fox and Madam Mim – Snake enable you to return valuable Characters such as Merlin – Goat and Merlin – Rabbit to your hand, generating value. You’re not limited to Merlin cards—returning Ursula – Deceiver allows additional discard triggers. Kit Cloudkicker – Tough Guy can also bounce an opponent’s Character, slowing their Lore production.

Characters like Merlin – Goat and The White Rose – Jewel of the Garden provide immediate Lore upon entering play, giving you the push needed to close out tight games. Utilizing Madam Mim’s bounce effect allows repeated play of these Lore-producing Characters. Additionally, Go Go Tomago – Darting Dynamo can accelerate Lore gains, particularly useful for securing victory in the late game.

Elsa – The Fifth Spirit provides mid-game board control. Her ability to exert an opponent’s Character combined with her Rush keyword allows you to banish critical Characters for your opponent.

Clarabelle – Light on Her Hooves is there for the resource generation, adding more cards to your hand until you have the same as your opponent. Usually, matchup dependent, where it shines against decks that draw a lot.

Amethyst Steel has been crushing it in tournaments, using Amethyst’s Bounce mechanic for extra value, and Steel’s Pete – Games Referee can be a headache for the opponent, shutting them down from making certain plays.

This deck plays aggressively early into the game, dropping low-cost Characters and using Calhoun – Marine Sergeant, The White Rose – Jewel of the Garden, Merlin – Goat, and Giant Cobra – Ghostly Serpent for the extra Lore. Bouncing Merlin – Goat is the usual play as you approach the late-game, giving you the little Lore you need to close out games.
