The new FB06 and FS08 sets from the Dragon Ball Super Fusion Card Game have introduced exciting Leaders, opening fresh strategies and deck-building possibilities. In this article, we’re showcasing early builds and strategies for five standout Leaders: Red Android 18, Green Broly: BR, Blue Kidku, Black King Piccolo, and Yellow Gomah, along with a bonus look at FS08’s Blue Vegeta.
Let’s dive into these new Leaders and explore the potential they bring to the competitive scene!
Red Android 18

The Red Android 18 Leader empowers other Androids, giving one of your attacking Androids a +20,000 Power boost to ensure you get to KO the rested Battle Card. However, that Power boost can only be used once per turn and only works when attacking a Battle Card, so you can’t boost your attacker’s Power when you’re targeting the opponent’s Leader.
So, Leader Android 18 makes it easier to control the battle area with her power boost, and this list plays around that. This list is heavy on Androids, and many of them activate their effects when attacking. 2-cost and 4-cost Android 17 can gain a Power boost when they attack, helping you KO an opponent’s Battle card. We also have multiple cards with Power reduction abilities like 2-cost Android 18, 3-cost Android 16, and 3-cost Android 17/Android 18.
A main card in this list that enables us to control the Battle Area with our heavy attackers is Bleak Future field, allowing us to attack Active Battle cards and forcing the opposing player to use their Combo plays or watch the board get demolished.
Fusion Android 13 is our heaviest attacker, becoming 55,000 Power Character when played, and can keep attacking every time he KO’s a Battle Card. So, if you start with the weakest target, you can attack multiple times in one turn, potentially removing everything on the board and still attacking their Leader.
Green Broly

Green Broly: BR has a self-damage effect, allowing you to go down to 4 Life cards quickly and awaken himself. This Leader plays around Broly: BR cards. When he goes for the attack, you can choose 1 of your Broly: BR in the Battle Area and place it into your drop, then, if you have 4 Energy, you can play a Broly: BR in Rest Mode with 1-cost higher than the Broly: BR you removed from.
How does this work? We have multiple 4-cost Broly: BR in this list to combo them with our Leader. Naturally, you’d be cheating out a 5-cost Broly: BR in their place, and it will be played rested. It doesn’t feel like the best trade-off, but all of those 4-cost Broly: BR have an ability that allows you to increase their cost by 3, becoming a 7-cost Broly: BR when they’re in play.
This means we can cheat out one of our 8-cost Broly: BR, putting a high-cost win condition in the mid-game to start pressuring the opposing player. They’ll find it difficult to deal with a heavy hitter this early in the game, and if we’re trying to close out the game, we can activate Leader effect and put an 8-cost Broly: BR in the drop to cheat out our 9-cost Broly: BR. Although 9-cost Broly: BR will join in rested, his play effect lets you turn him Active, going for the 55,000 Power Double Attack to win you the game.
Blue Kidku

Kidku is all about playing Extra cards with a cost of 2 or less to gain an edge over the opposing player. Leader Goku’s Awakened effect lets you discard a card from your hand to play a 2-cost or less Extra for free. Dodon Wave is great for removing an opponent’s win condition from play, but it also gives you a Power boost to help get an attack through. Speaking of Power boosts, this list has Extra cards like Scissors Paper Rock and World Tournament Arena that offer additional Power to our attacker, making it even harder for the opposing player to combo out of an attack.
A lot of our Battle cards have draw effects, making sure we don’t run out of steam. Nam, Jackie Chun, and Tien Shinhan add more cards to our hand, keeping the engine running.
5-cost Son Goku : Childhood is the Double Attack win condition, and if you play a non-field Extra on the turn he’s played, you can activate it twice. So something like Scissors Paper Rock will give you a +50,000 Power boost to win the game, and you’re also gaining an additional card. This is an insane combo play with your Leader’s effect, allowing you to for a finisher attack too tough for the opposing player to Combo from.
Black King Piccolo

Black King Piccolo removes an Energy marker to cheat out a Demon Egg from your Drop to the Battle Area. At the end of your turn, the Demon Egg can play a 3-cost or less non-King Piccolo< Battle Card with {Demond Clan} in its special trait from your hand. So we can cheat out Battle cards like Cymbal, Tambourine, and Drum.
4-cost Son Goku: GT and 4-cost King Piccolo give us an extra Energy Marker, enabling us to continue activating our Leader’s effect.
Yellow Gomah

King Gomah : DA’s ability lets you place a Field card that includes {Demon Realm} or {Demon World} in its special traits in your Battle Area into its owner’s Drop to cheat out a Batte card with a 3-cost or less and the same special trait as the [Field] placed into its owner’s Drop by this skill from your hand.
We have multiple Fields: Planet of Mega, Witch’s Abode, and Demon King Palace to gain value from their effects and then combo them with our Leader’s effect to cheat out a Battle card.
4-cost King Gomah : DA cheats out a Field in play, enabling your strategy to go wider on the battle area and threaten multiple attacks.
Bonus FS08: Blue Vegeta

Vegita (Mini) : DA synergizes with DA Battle cards, allowing you to play more aggressively when he awakens. When attacking, Vegita (Mini) : DA can switch a 2-cost or more DA Battle Card as Active, letting you attack with it a second time. This adds more pressure on the opponent, forcing more Combo plays from them.
