5 Best Marvel Snap Decks April Patch 2024

Howdy everyone, the Marvel Snap April patch introduced a new card to the, US. Agent, that has an Ongoing effect allowing it to reduce the Power of 4, 5, and 6-Cost cards in the location he’s at by -3 Power. The effect can be a game-changer and will force opponents to play their higher-cost cards with US. Agent in mind.

The new patch also held card updates to Alioth, Zabu, Sandman, Lady Deathstrike, and Strong Guy. Alioth and Zabu were hit with rough nerfs since they’ve been quite present in the meta and have seen a lot of success.

Today’s article will showcase the top-performing decks early into the new Marvel Snap patch.

1- Reveal Odin

The Reveal Odin deck relies on cards with powerful reveal abilities to dominate locations. Cards like Medusa, Wolfsbane, Jessica Jones, and Camora can gain a lot of Power and will play a massive role in winning games.

Iron heart and White Tiger assist you in winning other locations with their ability. Ideally, you want both of them in the same location for when Odin drops. Ice Man and Scorpio are in the deck to ruin the opponent’s plans.

Your late-game Odin will reactivate your reveal cards’ abilities, meaning we get to another 8 Power Tiger from White Tiger and Ironheart will buff up other cards a second time. A third card you could have along with them is Medusa or Wolfsbane.

2- Destroy Death

This destroy deck takes advantage of cards like Deadpool, Bucky Barnes, Nova, and Wolverine. Destroying them activates their ability, further advancing your game plan. Deadpool being only 1 Energy means we can easily replay it three to four times, doubling its power every time it’s destroyed.

As you destroy cards, Knull will gain more power with his Onoing effect and Death’s cost will drop down, eventually being playable at 0.

The list runs cards that let you destroy cards like Carnage, Venom, and Deathlok. Those cards are crucial for your gameplan, increasing your overall power in a location, while also pushing for your Knull and Death win conditions.

3- Sera Surfer

The Sera Surfer deck runs 8 3-cost cards! This deck plays around the Silver Surfer win condition and with Sera and Magik’s help, we could play more cards!

The plan is to drop our 3-cost and hold onto Silver Surfer until the last turn. Nakla should be our first 3-cost card to play, getting access to that Power buff to all cards in hand. We want to have Magik before turn 5 to push the game an extra turn, this gives us more time to have all our 3-drops on board. Magik can also get rid of any location effect that hinders our game plan or gives the opponent an advantage. Nova should be in play before we drop Killmonger, buffing everything in all three locations and making space for another, stronger card.

Sera should be on the board on turn 5 and following her up with Mystique will reduce the cost of all cards in our hand by 2. This makes it easier for us to jam cards in one turn and then finish it off with a Silver Surver to buff all our 3-cost cards by +2 Power.

4- Along Agatha

Swarm locations for the win with this Along Agatha deck! The list runs 7 1-cost cards that are easy to play as we move to the late game. Angel is our turn 2 play as we’ll want to follow up with more cards in the same location to boost up her Power.

We have a bunch of low-cost cards everywhere, now what? Well my dear friend, now we jam the buffers! Kazar and Blue Marvel give a Power boost to all 1-cost cards. Blue Marvel is even better because he’ll buff up everything regardless of the cost. This is a +2 Power boost on everything, but, we’re not done yet! Onslaught doubles our Ongoing effects in the location he’s played.

This means Kazar, Blue Marvel, and Onslaught will be holding hands in one location to get the most out of the Power boost, turning the +2 Power boost into a +4!

Agatha Harkness lets you sit back and let her do the work. Your opponent won’t know you’re running Agatha unless they’ve seen the list. This gives you an element of surprise, dropping a 14 Power Agatha on turn 6 can potentially win you a location. The deck isn’t difficult to play, so Agatha can’t ruin your games too much.

If you want to avoid the randomness of Agatha, you can cut her for an Ultron.

5- Hela Lockjaw

eyJOYW1lIjoiTW9zdCBQb3B1bGFyIERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxhY2tDYXQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkJsYWNrS25pZ2h0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJCbGFkZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGgifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRyYWN1bGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkhlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkluZmluYXV0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKdWJpbGVlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMYWR5U2lmIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMb2NramF3In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNYWduZXRvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSZWRIdWxrIn1dfQ==

The discard deck looks to play high-power cards using Jubilee and Lockjaw’s abilities. The plan is to drop Lockhaw first and follow it up with a Jubilee play. Jubilee will pull a card from the deck onto the location she’s in and then Lockjaw will swap her with a card in your deck. This should win you one location, and your focus should shift to winning another location.

Blade, Lady Sif, and Black Cat are your discard cards that set up your late-game Hela play and buff the stats of Black Knight’s Ebony Blade.

Once Hela drops, you’ll get to resurrect all the cards you’ve discarded throughout the game, allowing you to dominate the game with high-power cards. Getting to resurrect cards like The Infinaut, Magneto, or Red Hulk should leave your opponent in shambles.

Death is in the list to protect Hela from Lady Sif’s discard mechanic. You never want Hela to get discarded since she’s your main win condition.
