We had some amazing games during the OP12 Championship 25-26 Season 1 Area Finals with a massive deck diversity in the top 32, showcasing a healthy overall meta. Blue Purple Luffy remains the top choice among players, and it had over 12 decks in the top 32 of the Season 1 Area Finals.
However, despite having the highest representation, it did not make it into the finals, and we ended up watching a Red Silvers Rayleigh and Green Purple Luffy matchup!
Ban Date Announcement
During the live stream, players were eagerly waiting for the ban announcement, in the hopes it would hit decks like Blue Purple Monkey D.Luffy, Green Purple Luffy, and possibly Green Roronoa Zoro. However, Bandai had other plans, making everyone wait until the winner interview to hit us with a ban announcement delay.

Bandai has decided to delay the ban list announcement until Wednesday, August 20, as they need additional time to review the list, ensure it addresses the right targets, and guide the meta in a positive direction.

1st Place Red Silvers Rayleigh

Red Silvers Rayleigh has been on a roll this week, proving it’s currently the best aggressive deck to play in OP12 meta. This deck wants to go wide on the field with the help of the 4-cost Luffy to present a multiple attacker threat. Using your Leader Rayleigh’s effect, you can boost the Power of one of your Characters, turning them into an attacker to threaten an opponent’s Life card.
The list also has Roronoa Zoro and Kid & Killer as Rush attackers, making sure you keep pressuring the opposing player throughout the game and can set up the winning turn.
2nd Place Green Purple Monkey D.Luffy

Green Purple Luffy is still one of the best choices in OP12 meta, using Sanji & Pudding for the mid-game ramp effect, allowing you to activate your Leader’s ability on earlier turns without falling behind in the game.
You get to go for heavier attacks or even develop an additional Character thanks to the 2 Don you gain from your Leader and the Active Don you’re gaining from Sanji & Pudding. The 7-cost Luffy-Tarou lets you cheat out either 4-cost Zoro-Juuro or Sanji & Pudding, going wider on the field to set up an aggressive upcoming turn.
We have multiple new cards from PRB02: Nami is offering the searcher effect, Zoro is a +2,000 Counter and a blocker, and Luffy slows down your opponent’s upcoming turn. The 4-cost Luffy is possibly the strongest addition to this deck, forcing your opponent to rest one of their Don on the upcoming turn, which can shut them down from making certain plays and slowing down their strategy.
The 6-cost Luffy acts as a game finisher, capable of attacking twice in one turn, which can set up the game-winning attack, especially with the help of your Leader’s Don gain effect.
